As a single Dad I found myself doing at courses at the nursery my son attended. It was there I was introduced to Mindfulness, thinking I’ll give it a go and see what kind of mumbo-jumbo it is, but no, it really opened my eyes and gave me a new tool for life. It helped me relax without the need for drugs and helped me cope with an extremely difficult detox. Thanks to Mindfulness I’m a different person and would recommend it to anyone, just give it a try, it can’t hurt. Thanks.
Mindful Soothing
Mindfulness helps soothe the mind and make life more enjoyable. It’s both simple and effective.
In a nutshell, Mindfulness involves training yourself to stay in the present moment and some meditation practice. Being aware of the present moment is both relaxing and refreshing, rather than living in the past, going over old hurts, or living in the future, wondering ‘What if? What if?’.
With Mindfulness you will find a calm in daily life and the ability to become more aware of moments of joy.
Mindfulness has been shown to be as effective as medication for the prevention of relapse of depression (The Lancet, April 2015).
Mindful Soothing provides individual or group Mindfulness sessions over video link.
